About the role

We're looking for an autonomous Industrial Maintenance Technician II to manage mechanical failures, execute component changes, and perform structural fabrications on active material-handling conveyor systems. This position will address emergency maintenance issues across all workstreams of operations to achieve scheduled daily production levels, maintain on-time completion of assigned preventive maintenance (PMs), and handle general work order (WO) requests including repairs, modifications, and fabrication projects.

This position reports to the Maintenance Manager and is based onsite in our Belton, MO fulfillment center.

Responsibilities

Lead on-site Lockout-Tagout (LOTO): Confirm safety isolation points across complex, multi-stage machinery before giving crews permission to work.
Execute machine fabrication: Operate shop equipment, including band saws, mills, drill presses, and bench grinders, to adapt or repair parts for active projects.
Troubleshoot system sortation: Monitor internal system flows to isolate, diagnose, and resolve sorting errors or belt alignment issues.
Enforce hazmat safety: Audit material safety logs on the floor and conduct routine safety inspections to maintain clean, compliant workspaces.

Requirements

Safety mindset focusing on OSHA and NFPA safety compliance.
Industrial conveyance and sortation maintenance experience.
Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repairs.
Intermediate efficiency in Office and/or Google suite applications.
Experience utilizing a CMMS and preventative maintenance scheduling.

Qualifications

AC/DC motor troubleshooting, repair, and installation (bonus).
PLC, WCS, and WMS systems experience (bonus).
Vendor management and parts room experience (bonus).

Schedule

Back half day shift: Wednesday through Saturday, 0700-1730 (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM). Must be able to cover 1st and 2nd shifts as needed.

Pay

Salary Range: $29 USD - $32 USD. Final compensation is determined by experience, skills, and other non-discriminatory factors. IPSY offers a bonus and competitive benefits.
