Traveling Concrete Rodbuster

Job Requirements

• At least 5 years experience as a Concrete Rodbuster
• Able to follow established finish grade during the pouring of slabs
• Able to read a tape measure accurately
• Able to tie rebar per plans
• Able to install embeds and anchor bolts in accordance with plans
• Able to set string line for setting of concrete forms
• Able to measure, cut, assemble forms, construct and erect/build in place prefabricated wooden/steel forms
• Able to set up and secure forms at correct location, leveling ground and ensuring forms are stable and aligned
• Proficient in the use of tools such as straight edges to establish grade, bull floats, float blades, combo blades, hand tools, sledgehammers, hand saws, power drills, saws, lasers, vibrators, walk behind trowels or riders, and know when to use these tools at the proper time during place and finish
• Experience patching of voids and repair of concrete work is preferred
• Able to dismantle, clean, store or dispose of forms after use
• Able to lift/push/pull up to and not limited to 50lbs
• Comfortable working in a changing environment that may expose you to hot or cold weather, loud noises, dust, and rain
• Work may occur at heights and require the use of a ladder/manlift/scaffold/ or other mechanical platforms to access the working area
• Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times (safety vest, hard hat, eye protection, gloves, sleeves as needed, face shields, and appropriate work footwear)
