Concrete Rodbuster -Heavy Civil

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a Concrete Rodbuster
• Ability to follow established finish grade during slab pouring
• Accurate tape‑measure reading
• Ability to tie rebar according to plans
• Install embeds and anchor bolts per plans
• Proficiency with tools: straight edges, bull floats, float blades, combo blades, hand tools, sledgehammer, hand saws, power drills, saws, lasers, vibrators, walk‑behind trowels or riders, and knowledge of appropriate tool usage during placement and finish
• Experience patching voids and repairing concrete work (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Set string line for concrete form placement
• Measure, cut, assemble, construct, and erect prefabricated wooden or steel forms
• Set up and secure forms at correct locations, level ground, and ensure forms are stable and aligned
• Perform concrete placement and finishing, including placing, finishing, curing, and cutting of concrete slabs
• Dismantle, clean, store, or dispose of forms after use

Physical Requirements

• Climb, stand, sit, walk, reach, bend, crawl, squat, and kneel for prolonged periods
• Lift, push, or pull up to 50 lb (or more)

Working Conditions

• On‑site, primarily outdoors
• Exposure to hot or cold weather, loud noises, dust, and rain
• Work at heights using ladders, man‑lifts, scaffolds, or other mechanical platforms
• Personal protective equipment required at all times (safety vest, hard hat, eye protection, gloves, sleeves, face shield, appropriate footwear)
