Job Details

Responsible for performing and overseeing vascular ultrasound procedures to assess blood flow, detect vascular abnormalities, and assist in the diagnosis and treatment of vascular conditions.

Perform a wide range of vascular ultrasound examinations, including carotid, arterial, venous, and peripheral vascular studies.

Use Doppler and color-flow imaging to assess blood flow and detect abnormalities.

Oversee the maintenance and calibration of vascular ultrasound equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results.

Prepare and position patients for vascular ultrasound examinations.

Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to determine the appropriate ultrasound protocols for each patient.

• Schedule Information: Shift: 07:00 - 16:30
• MGB NWH Self-Study Orientation & Attestation required for onboarding.
• Documentation of MMR vaccination or immunity required.
• Hepatitis B vaccination strongly preferred.
• TB test documentation required within 3 months of start date and updated if >6 month break.
• Health Statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date and updated if >6 month break.
• MGB Criminal Background Check within 45 days prior to start date and updated if >6 month break.
• MGB Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start date and updated if >6 month break.
• MGB Resume including past 7 years of work experience required for submission.
• Two references within 4 years required for submission, minimum one supervisor or above.
• MGB Skills Checklist must be completed within 1 year of submission.
• MGB Confirmation of Assignment/POI Form required for onboarding and assignment acceptance.
• MGB Education Verification required for onboarding.
• MGB SSN Trace required for onboarding.
• MGB National Sex Offender Check within 30 days of start and updated annually.
• MGB Exclusion Checks within 30 days of start and annually.
• Fit Test (N95) within 365 days to start date and updated annually.
• Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation required if fit test is required.
