Travel Vascular Sonographer - $2,460 per week

Job Summary

Vascular Sonographer position available in Waterloo, Iowa. This role involves performing a variety of vascular imaging exams, including venous and arterial Doppler studies, as well as limited second and third trimester obstetric ultrasound. Assignments start on 08/03/2026, with rotating shifts and a minimum commitment of 37.5 hours weekly.

Job Details

• Schedule: Rotating shifts, with call coverage Monday-Friday from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM, including weekend call as needed from 6:30 PM to 6:00 AM.

Required Qualifications

• Certification in American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) with specialized credentials in Abdomen (AB) and Vascular (RVT) highly preferred; ARDMS (OB/GYN) preferred.
• Educational requirements include BLS certification; a minimum of 24 months of current Sonographer and/or Vascular experience.
• Must hold a drivers license and have experience with EPIC electronic medical record system.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in abdominal, renal, pelvis, and vascular ultrasound exams, including DVT/venous evaluation, carotid arteries, aorta, thyroid, and obstetric imaging (transabdominal and transvaginal).
• Experience assisting with procedures such as fine needle aspirations, paracentesis, and thoracentesis is preferred.

Additional Information

• The role requires participation in holiday coverage, specifically working 1-2 of the upcoming summer holidays unless the unit is closed.
• Call rotation occurs during evenings and weekends, with specific multipliers for call-back and on-call hours.
