Travel Vascular Sonographer - $2,355 per week
Job Summary
Vascular Sonographer position available in Waterloo, Iowa. This role involves performing diagnostic vascular imaging procedures, including evaluation of arteries, veins, and other vascular structures. The candidate will work in a dynamic environment, supporting general, OB/GYN, and vascular patient care, with a focus on abdominal, lower and upper extremity vascular studies, and obstetric assessments.

Location: Waterloo, IA 50703
Schedule: Nights shift, 11.5 hours per shift, minimum of 34.5 hours per week
Required Qualifications
24 months of current sonographer and/or vascular experience
Proficiency/experience in abdomen, RUQ with liver vessel evaluation, kidneys, bladder, pelvis (transabdominal and transvaginal), 1st trimester OB, testicle/scrotum, DVT/venous evaluation, ABIs, thyroids, aortas, carotids, and limited 2nd/3rd trimester OBs
EPIC EMR experience
ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification
BLS certification
Valid drivers license
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with assisting in fine needle aspirations, paracentesis, thoracentesis procedures is a plus
Additional Information
Candidates must have a minimum of 24 months of sonographer and/or vascular experience, with a focus on general, abdomen, and non-high risk OB/GYN imaging
Candidates should be capable of performing the specified vascular and obstetric scans
Must be available to work during scheduled holidays unless unit is closed
