This role involves providing specialized patient care in a surgical telemetry unit, utilizing the nursing process to evaluate and coordinate patient recovery. The position is an auto-offer for a 13-week assignment, with a focus on inpatient care for cardiac and surgical patients on the night shift. Job Details Schedule: Nights, 1900-0700, minimum of 36 hours per week Required Qualifications: Current RN license (Meets the criteria to be eligible for licensure in the state of Missouri or currently licensed in Missouri), BLS from AHA, 1 year of tele-surgical nursing experience, and competence in drug titration; NIHSS (must be obtained prior to start or submitted without) Preferred Qualifications: ACLS from AHA Float: Float rotation may be required, on a rotational basis Additional Information: Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care, maintains patient rights and confidentiality, and performs duties aligned with the organization's standards. The position requires flexibility, decisive decision-making, and professional accountability. Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting up to 50 pounds, and exposure to blood and body fluids. The nurse will care for post-trauma, surgical, and medical patients, working collaboratively with other departments to optimize care.
