Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse - $3,400 per week

Job Summary

This acute care telemetry position involves providing specialized patient care for adult patients with cardiac and other monitoring needs. The role includes managing patients with complex medical conditions, titrating drips, and utilizing electronic health record systems within a collaborative healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized telemetry nursing care for adult patients with cardiac and other monitoring needs
• Manage patients with complex medical conditions
• Titrate drips as required
• Utilize electronic health record systems
• Float rotation may be required to other med/surg units if overstaffed
• Medicaid staffing involving cross-unit responsibilities may be involved

Required Qualifications

• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• At least 1 year of recent telemetry nursing experience
• Wisconsin nursing license
• Ability to work in the United States
• Live within 80 miles of the facility
• Have worked for Marshfield within the past 6 months, with end date at least 6 months prior to submission

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with IVs, drains, ostomies, wound vacs, NG tubes, Foley catheters
• Experience with electronic health record systems
• Intermediate care background

Schedule

• Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift
• Minimum of 48 hours per week
• EOW (every other week) schedule
• EOH (every other holiday)
• No call or standby required

Orientation

Orientation includes 12 hours of computer training and 12 hours shadowing.
