Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg / Telemetry - $3,400 per week
Job Summary
This acute care position involves providing care for patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions, with additional telemetry responsibilities to monitor cardiac rhythms. The role includes collaborating with charge nurses, nurse aides, and teletechs to deliver comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Certifications Required: BLS (AHA)
Education & Experience Requirements: Minimum one (1) year of acute care experience; no oncology or chemotherapy knowledge required; preferred prior travel experience; experience with drips including insulin, heparin, cardizem, nitro, amiodarone, octreotide, and blood transfusions; comfortable managing titratable drips and reading cardiac strips.
Location Requirements
Candidates living within 80 miles of the facility.
Schedule
12-hour day/eve shifts starting at either 7:00 AM or 11:00 AM, with a minimum of 48 hours per week;
every other weekend and holiday required;
flexibility to work 36 hours shifts can be discussed.
Responsibilities
Assisting with patient monitoring, including cardiac rhythms, managing drips as needed, and collaborating with charge nurses assigned to modified patient loads.
Additional Information
Orientation includes one day of computer and regulatory training plus a 12-hour shift on the floor.
First to float within med-surg units, with out-of-unit floating for observer or tasking needs in 4-hour increments.
