Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg / Telemetry - $3,109 per week

Travel Nurse RN – Med Surg / Telemetry for a 13‑week assignment in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Schedule

12‑hour rotating shifts.

• Day shift: 1:4 patient ratio
• PM shift: 1:4 / 1:5 patient ratio
• Night shift: 1:6 (occasionally 1:7) patient ratio

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care on Med Surg / Telemetry units.
• Float to observation, cardiac, medical, surgical, ortho/neuro, inpatient rehab, or transitional care units as needed within skillset.
• Utilize EPIC EMR (experience preferred within the past 2 years).
• Perform venipuncture, administer Cardizem, and manage ports, Foley/straight catheters, and stable drips.

Floating & On‑Call

• Float team position; floats as needed within skillset to observation, cardiac, medical, surgical, ortho/neuro, inpatient rehab, and/or transitional care units (facility tries to keep traveler in 1–2 like units).
• On‑Call: None.

Requirements

• 1–2+ years general Med/Surg experience.
• Experience with venipuncture and Cardizem.
• Experience with ports, Foley/straight catheters, and stable drips.
• Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred.
• Active RN or Compact license required upon submittal.
• BLS (AHA) certification required upon submittal.
• NIHSS certification preferred for submittal (required prior to end of orientation; provided free via Bellin's Apex Innovations).
• Must reside outside a 50‑mile radius of Bellin Health (Radius Rule).
• No bright colors or character prints for scrubs.
