Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg / Telemetry - $2,109 per week

Job Description

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Med Surg/Telemetry RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Fort Madison, Iowa. The position offers 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, and starts immediately.

Requirements

• One year of recent Med Surg/Telemetry RN experience
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification
• NIHSS certification (optional)
• ACLS (AHA / ARC) certification (optional)

Qualifications

• Preferably with NIHSS certification
• Preferably with ACLS certification

Essential Work Functions

• Explain procedures and treatments to patients and families
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' conditions
• Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures
• Maintain a safe and comfortable environment
• Document comprehensive patient information
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Manage multiple patients efficiently
• Advocate for patients' needs
• Ensure infection control practices
• Perform other duties as assigned
