Travel Telemetry Med/Surg Float RN - $2,135 per week
About the Role
Telemetry Medical Surgical Float (TELE MS FLOAT) nurse position in an acute care setting. This role involves providing comprehensive care within a telemetry medical-surgical unit and floating across departments as part of the care team. Responsibilities include managing chest tubes, femstops, trachs, CBIs, drains, central lines, and titration of medications such as amiodarone, cardizem, nitro, insulin, heparin, dopamine, dobutamine, isuprel, milrinone, and argatroban.
The position requires working 1-2 of 3 summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) and participating in multiple orientation sessions scheduled throughout the year.
Schedule
- Night shifts, 12 hours per shift
- Minimum of 36 hours per week
- Duration: 13 weeks

Requirements
- Valid Illinois or Iowa state RN license
- 0.0 years of experience required
- Completion of a skills checklist within 1 year of submission
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Valid driver’s license
- Work history/resume
- Copy of required certifications
- References including one supervisory reference at the time of submission
- Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility (local candidates for Madison accepted with a 10% rate reduction)
Preferred Qualifications
- Two or more years of previous clinical experience
- At least one completed travel contract

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
