Job Details
Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing;
current registered nurse (RN) licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts;
BLS certification;
successful completion of Medical/Surgical IV Medication Module;
successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia exam;
2+ years of Medical/Surgical Telemetry RN experience required;
travel experience preferred.
Additional Information
Must be able to perform own phlebotomy and have IV experience.
The nurse will coordinate total nursing care, participate in patient and family teaching, and work cooperatively with the interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities include patient assessment, medication administration, documentation, and responding to emergencies.
The role involves managing patients with epidural analgesia, chest drainage devices, and telemetry monitoring, ensuring safety and compliance with policies and protocols.
