This role involves performing phlebotomy, managing intravenous therapy, and providing high-quality nursing care to various patient populations. The RN will work in a critical care setting, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and support patient and family education. Job Details: Schedule: Night shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Graduated from an accredited nursing school, current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, BLS certification, successful completion of Medical/Surgical IV Medication Module, successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia exam, 2+ years of Medical/Surgical Telemetry Nursing experience, travel experience preferred. Preferred Qualifications: Experience performing venipuncture and IV placements, proficiency with telemetry monitoring and post-operative care, demonstrated leadership and patient education skills. Float: Float: Float rotation may be required. Additional Information: Responsibilities include managing patients with chest drainage devices, epidural analgesia, telemetry monitoring, and orthopedic diagnoses. The role requires timely documentation, effective communication, and emergency response. Maintenance of valid licenses and certifications according to role requirements is necessary. The RN will address age-specific patient needs, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, while ensuring adherence to policies and best practices.
