About the Role
FirstChoice Surgical Technologists are utilized to fill short and long-term assignments throughout the Trinity Health system. Nationwide and regional opportunities are available, offering premium pay and maximum flexibility. This role involves floating throughout hospitals and/or multiple hospital locations and regions.
Responsibilities
- Know, understand, incorporate, and demonstrate standard elements of professional practice: Assess, Outcomes Identification/Solutions, Plan, Implement, Evaluate.
- Act independently and appropriately within scope of knowledge and experience.
- Retain accountability for delegation, choices, decisions, and outcomes.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and contribute to quality improvement practices and outcomes.
- Exhibit agility and willingness to take on new and additional responsibilities.
- Embrace new ideas and cultural differences while managing competing priorities.
Requirements
- Preferred Education: Graduate of an Associate or Bachelor’s degree program for Surgical Technologist.
- Preferred Certification: CST (Certified Surgical Technologist).
- A minimum of 18 months of experience is required for CST certification.
- If a Surgical Technologist program has not been completed (e.g., on-the-job training or military training), five years of work experience is required.
- Cannot hold a concurrent position at a Trinity Health facility.
- Ability to complete orientation and training.

Pay
Gross weekly rate: $2,720.00.
Schedule
- 13-week assignment.
- 4x10-hour shifts (day shift).
- Start date: ASAP.
Location: Saint Alphonsus Health System, Ontario, OR.
