Travel Surgical Technologist, ST, CST

About the role

As a FirstChoice Surgical Technologist, you will float throughout the hospital and/or multiple hospital locations and/or regions. You will act independently within your scope of knowledge, collaborate with stakeholders, contribute to quality improvement, and embrace new responsibilities and cultural differences.

Requirements

• Preferred: Graduate of an Associate or Bachelor’s degree program for Surgical Technologist.
• Preferred Certification: CST (Certified Surgical Technologist).
• Minimum 18 months of experience for CST-certified candidates.
• If no Surgical Technologist program completed (e.g., on-the-job or military training), five years of work experience is required.
• Cannot hold a concurrent position at a Trinity Health facility.
• Ability to complete orientation and training.

Pay

Gross weekly rate: $2,080.00 for a 4x10 day shift (40 hours per week).

Note: This rate applies only to surgical technologists coming to Michigan from out of state, over 60 miles from home to the hospital. You cannot work in the same metropolitan area for more than 12 months to receive this rate.

Schedule

• 12-week assignment.
• 4x10-hour day shifts (40 hours per week).
• Start date: ASAP.
