About the Role

FirstChoice Surgical Technologists are utilized to fill short and long-term assignments throughout Trinity Health's network. Nationwide and regional opportunities are available, offering premium pay and maximum flexibility.

Qualified candidates must be willing to float throughout the hospital, multiple hospital locations, and/or regions.

Responsibilities

  • Know, understand, incorporate, and demonstrate standard elements of professional practice: Assess, Outcomes Identification/Solutions, Plan, Implement, Evaluate.
  • Act independently and appropriately within scope of knowledge and experience.
  • Retain accountability for delegation, choices, decisions, and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and contribute to quality improvement practices and outcomes.
  • Exhibit agility and willingness to take on new and additional responsibilities.
  • Embrace new ideas and cultural differences while managing competing priorities.

Requirements

  • Preferred Education: Graduate of an Associate or Bachelor’s degree program for Surgical Technologist.
  • Preferred Certification: CST (Certified Surgical Technologist).
  • Minimum of 18 months of experience is required for CST certification.
  • If a Surgical Technologist program has not been completed (e.g., on-the-job training or military training), five (5) years of work experience is required.
  • Cannot hold a concurrent position at a Trinity Health facility.
  • Ability to complete orientation and training.

Pay

Gross weekly rate: $2,720.00.

Schedule

  • 13-week assignment.
  • 4x10-hour shifts (day shift).
  • Start date: ASAP.

Location: Saint Alphonsus Health System, Ontario, OR.
