Travel Stepdown / MedSurg RN - $2,441 per week

About the role

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a hospital contract in Morgantown, West Virginia. The position offers 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, and a duration of 13 weeks starting as soon as possible. The pay range is $2336.08 - $2452.88 per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a hospital stepdown and floor setting.
• Monitor and read telemetry strips in conjunction with telemetry monitor techs.
• Titrade drips for patients on the stepdown unit.
• Collaborate with charge nurses and house supervisors to ensure quality care.
• Follow unit-specific protocols and assist in patient management during shifts.

Requirements

• BLS certification required.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a current RN license in good standing. Experience in a stepdown or related unit is preferred but not required. Candidates must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.

Skills

Strong communication skills, ability to work independently, and a positive attitude are essential. Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems is beneficial.

Pay
