Travel Stepdown / MedSurg RN - $2,319 per week

About the role

Join our dynamic Stepdown & Floor Unit as a Registered Nurse, where you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients with a range of medical conditions. Collaborating with healthcare teams, you will be instrumental in offering critical support to our patients, enhancing their recovery and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care in a high-acuity stepdown and medical-surgical environment.
• Titrating and managing IV drips and other medical therapies as needed.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, interpreting telemetry readings in coordination with monitoring techs.
• Perform routine medical procedures and document care in electronic medical records (EPIC).
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Participate in unit-based responsibilities and contribute to the overall team effectiveness.

Requirements

• Current, unencumbered state RN license.
• BLS Certification required.
• Experience in a stepdown or similar acute care setting is preferred.
• Ability to read telemetry strips accurately.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
