About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a 13-week assignment starting August 28, 2026, in Cleveland, Ohio.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients recovering from surgery or acute illness
- Monitor patient vital signs and administer medications as needed
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to develop and implement treatment plans
- Provide education to patients and families about their health conditions and treatments
- Document patient progress and communicate with family members and referring physicians
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Ohio
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in step-down unit preferred
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills

Pay
The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
