Travel Step-Down Registered Nurse - $2,271 per week
About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Step-Down Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of recent step-down nursing experience and be proficient in managing a variety of patient conditions.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patients recovering from surgical procedures, including heart catheterizations and vascular procedures.
- Manage patients with respiratory failure, including those requiring BiPAP/CPAP support.
- Administer medications and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Perform frequent vital signs and neurovascular checks.
- Provide post-cardiac catheterization care and monitor patients with TR bands.
- Interpret dysrhythmias and manage cardiac drips as required.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Current RN license.
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
- 2+ years of recent Step-Down nursing experience is mandatory.
- Previous experience with cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmia interpretation is essential.
- Proficient in IV/Vascular access and PICC line management.

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
