About the role
Innovent Global is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a 13-week assignment in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
Responsibilities
- Provide step-down care to patients recovering from surgery or acute illness
- Assist with medication administration and patient education
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to healthcare providers
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
Requirements
- 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, nights
- 2 years recent PCU experience
- BLS certification
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) required
Qualifications
- Current RN license in good standing
- Current BLS certification
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) required
Skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of step-down care protocols

Pay
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
