Travel Stepdown Registered Nurse - $2,645 per week

About the role

PCU RN needed for a 13 week assignment in SD. Must have active license, ACLS, NIHSS, and BLS.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care in a step-down unit setting
• Provide support to patients recovering from acute illnesses or injuries
• Perform medication administration and monitor patient responses
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with other healthcare providers

Requirements

• Current active RN license in good standing
• ACLS, NIHSS, and BLS certifications required
• Experience in step-down unit or similar setting preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience

Skills

• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR)
