Travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapy Assistant - $1,545 per week

About the Role

Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapy Assistant for a position in Webster, Massachusetts. The role involves supporting clinical interventions through evidence-based practices and providing rehabilitative and medically necessary treatment to patients with physical functioning disorders. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative and medically necessary treatment to patients with physical functioning disorders.
• Support and supervise students under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Document patient progress and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with other healthcare team members.
• Participate in patient care conferences, utilization reviews, and rehabilitation meetings.
• Assist with obtaining necessary durable medical equipment (DME) or supplies as needed.

Requirements

• Valid State Licensure for a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• At least 1 year of PTA experience.
• Experience in long-term care (LTC) or rehabilitation.
• Completion of Level II clinical experience.
• Flexibility to work as per schedule and requirements.
• Strong communication skills.
• Commitment to adherence to the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and State practice acts, ethics, and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Experience in skilled nursing facilities or rehabilitation settings.

Schedule

Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. No on-call or weekend requirements. The position is scheduled to begin on 09/21/2026 and end on 12/21/2026.

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
