Travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapist - $2,646 per week

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients
• Develop and progress individualized treatment plans
• Perform therapeutic exercise and strengthening
• Conduct gait and balance training
• Provide transfer and functional mobility training
• Implement fall prevention and safety education
• Recommend and train on assistive devices
• Inform and educate patients and caregivers
• Collaborate with occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, nurses, and the interdisciplinary rehab team
• Discharge planning

Requirements

• Current license to practice physical therapy in Maryland
• Experience working in skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) or rehabilitation settings
• Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE)
• At least one year of recent clinical experience
• Current CPR certification
