POSITION SUMMARY – RN Utilization Review

Responsibilities

Evaluates patients' clinical records to determine the medical necessity and appropriateness of inpatient behavioral health services, coordinates with providers and payers for authorization and continued stay reviews, and helps ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, and reimbursement requirements.

Requirements

• IN/compact RN license
• Bachelor’s degree
• BLS
• HWC
• 1+ year recent utilization review experience in an acute hospital setting
• Previous utilization review experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility preferred

Pay

Pay rate: $1,800.00 – $2,500.00 per week (based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week)

Schedule

Shift: 12 hours (8:00 am – 4:30 pm); 36 hours per week; Assignment length: 13 weeks; Start date: 10/12/2026 (ASAP)
