Travel RN Progressive Care Unit - $2,024 per week
Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) assignment in Asheville, North Carolina. This is a 13-week travel position starting July 23, 2026, with the possibility of earlier or alternative start dates.
About the Role
This assignment is in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Stepdown setting, requiring a high level of clinical competence and flexibility. The facility is trauma-level specific, and the role involves 12-hour night shifts with a total of 36 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in a PCU/Stepdown environment
- Manage patients with tracheostomies (trachs)
- Respond to critical care situations requiring ACLS/BLS certifications
Requirements
- 2 years of nursing experience
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Experience working with tracheostomies (trachs)
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with Cerner electronic health records
