About the role

Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN) in Lewiston, Idaho. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a Level II Trauma Progressive Care Unit on the 4th floor. The position requires a dedicated healthcare professional committed to delivering safe, patient-centered care with a focus on adult patient populations.

Schedule

• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts
• Minimum of 36 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Perform EKG monitoring and patient assessment
• Provide wound care and IV management
• Deliver effective communication in a 11-bed unit with patient ratios of 4:1
• Care for adult patients with diagnoses including CHF, detox, stroke, NStemi, Stemi, neuro, COPD, diabetes, and sepsis

Requirements

• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Active Idaho RN license
• 2 years of experience in progressive care or intensive care settings

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of progressive care or intensive care experience

Additional Information

• Unit utilizes equipment such as IV pumps, EKG monitors, sequential compression devices, and bladder scanners
• Electronic health record system: Meditech
