Travel Progressive Care Unit RN - $2,024 per week
Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit assignment in Asheville, North Carolina.
About the role
This travel nursing assignment lasts 13 weeks, scheduled to start on July 23, 2026. The position requires 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift.
Responsibilities
- Manage epidurals, chest tubes, and tube feedings
- Administer IV glucomander and cardiac gtts (e.g., phenylephrine, dobutamine, dopamine, milrinone, cardizem, amiodarone, insulin, heparin, nitroglycerin, ketamine)
- Provide care for CV surgery and vascular surgery populations (e.g., open heart, TAVR, lobectomy, AAA repair, fem-pop bypass)
Requirements
- Prior CV critical care experience
- Stepdown and telemetry experience
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Preferred Qualifications
- CVICU experience
- Experience with CV surgery and vascular surgery populations within the past year

Pay
Estimated weekly pay includes projected hourly wages and weekly meal and lodging per diems for eligible clinicians based on nationally published GSA rates. Actual weekly pay and per diems may differ and are subject to change during an assignment.
