The Registered Nurse delivers compassionate, evidence-based, patient-centered care while promoting healing, safety, and wellness.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings accurately.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments safely according to physician orders and hospital policies.
- Monitor patient conditions and promptly communicate changes to the healthcare team.
- Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge planning.
- Delegate and supervise patient care activities appropriately.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain evidence-based nursing practice.
- Promote a safe, respectful, and patient-centered healing environment.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN) required; BSN preferred.
- BLS certification required.
- No prior RN experience required (previous nursing experience preferred).
