Travel Progressive Care Unit RN - $2,025 per week

About the role

Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Lewiston, Idaho. This role involves providing specialized nursing care for adult patients with varying medical conditions. The RN will be responsible for patient assessment, ECG monitoring, wound care, IV management, and maintaining effective communication with the healthcare team. The position offers a dynamic environment to apply clinical skills while supporting patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Float to medical-surgical units as required for patient safety

Requirements

• Valid RN license
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• 2 years preferred experience in progressive care or intensive care
• At least 1 year of recent experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with EKG monitoring
• Patient assessment
• Wound care
• IV management

Schedule

• Nights shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Minimum of 36 hours per week

Facility Details

• Unit has 11 beds with patient ratios of 4:1
• Uses Meditech EHR
• No call requirements
• Located on the 4th floor of a trauma level II facility
• Serves adult patients with diagnoses such as CHF, stroke, COPD, sepsis, and others
