Travel RN – NICU | Tucson, AZ

Contract: 13 weeks (September 14, 2026 – December 12, 2026), 36 hours/week, day shift (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM). Must live 50+ miles from Tucson, AZ; local candidates are not accepted.

Step into a Level III NICU supporting a 36-bed unit in Tucson, AZ, where your neonatal expertise can make an immediate impact. This is a great opportunity for an experienced NICU travel nurse ready to hit the ground running.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill and high-risk neonates
• Monitor newborns and respond quickly to changes in clinical condition
• Administer medications and treatments safely
• Collaborate with neonatologists, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams
• Support families through complex neonatal care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient-safety standards
• Float to an appropriate pediatric assignment when needed

Requirements

• Active RN license
• Minimum 2 years of recent NICU RN experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Level III NICU experience strongly preferred
• Strong neonatal assessment and critical-care skills
• Flexibility to float to an appropriate pediatric unit
• Immediate availability strongly preferred
