About the role
Unit: NICU - 6th Floor, Level III+ NICU with 51 beds and a team of 120 staff. EMR: Cerner.
- Day Shift staffing: 18 RNs, 1 Charge RN, 2 RTs, 1 Tech
- Night Shift staffing: 18 RNs, 1 Charge RN, 2 RTs
- Patient ratios: 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, 1:4
Schedule
- Shift: Days, 6:45 AM-7:15 PM
- 3×12-hour shifts
- Every other weekend required
Responsibilities
- Provide high-acuity neonatal care in a Level III+ NICU
- Float to Pediatrics, PICU, and Mother/Baby (babies only) as needed
Requirements
- 2+ years of Level III or higher NICU experience preferred
- NRP certification required
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Comfortable wearing navy blue scrubs
