About the role
- Night shift: 07:00 PM – 07:00 AM
- 54-bed unit with 125 staff members
- Night-shift staffing: 2 Charge, 8 RNs, 5 Paramedics
- Patient ratios: 4:1
- EMR: Meditech
Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care in a high-volume ER setting
- Perform typical ER procedures
- Prioritize and manage time effectively in a 4:1 patient-ratio environment
- Collaborate as a team player with charge nurses, RNs, paramedics, and support staff
- Adhere to unit guidelines, rotating-weekend schedule, and royal-blue scrub dress code
Requirements
- Active RN license
- Minimum 1.5 years of ER experience (candidates without this will not be considered)
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
Qualifications
- 2+ years of ER experience (preferred)
- Meditech EHR experience (preferred)
- Strong prioritization and time-management skills
