Travel ER RN

Overview

This role is for a skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) responsible for delivering rapid, high-quality care in a fast-paced emergency department setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, triage, and prioritize patient care based on severity
• Administer medications and treatments following protocols
• Assist physicians during emergency procedures and prepare equipment
• Monitor patient safety and comfort, respond to urgent needs
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EMR
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
• Educate patients and families on emergency procedures
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards

Qualifications & Skills

• One year recent ER RN experience
• Valid RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and PC use
• Ability to work under pressure and handle irregular schedules
