About the Role

Provides high-level direct patient care within the Cardiovascular Thoracic PCU, utilizing the nursing process and promoting evidence-based practices. Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes, prioritizing wellness and safety. Serves as a preceptor for new staff and adapts to a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized acute care for moderate to high acuity patients in Med-Surg units.
• Implement evidence-based care models aligned with core curriculum and certifications.
• Ensure safety, quality, and effective communication at the point of care.

Requirements

• Current Colorado RN license or eNLC privileges.
• Minimum of 1-year nursing experience.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
