About the role
This position involves providing high-level nursing care in a specialized 10-bed Progressive Care Unit (PCU) within a hospital setting. The nurse will utilize the nursing process to deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in a technically complex environment, including ICU or PCU level care.
- Model proficiency through precepting and support for new healthcare team members.
- Contribute to safety and quality at the point of care, emphasizing wellness, patient perspectives, and evidence-based practices.
- Utilize standards such as AACN’s Synergy Model and specialty certifications to inform care.
Qualifications & Skills
- Current Colorado RN license or eNLC privileges.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
- Certification in ACLS and BLS (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
- Strong clinical judgment, collaborative skills, and adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
