About the Role

Provide safe, compassionate patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU).

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care within the scope of practice, ensuring standards of care are maintained.
• Guide and educate patients and their families, as well as other nursing staff.
• Communicate closely with physicians regarding patient condition changes, including cardiac monitoring and diagnostic results.
• Respond promptly and accurately to clinical changes or treatment responses.
• Ensure quality patient care, monitor cardiac and diagnostic data, and coordinate communication with the healthcare team to respond to patient needs effectively.

Requirements

• Valid state RN license.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
