About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive perioperative patient care in a surgical environment. The role involves preparing the operating room, assisting with patient positioning, maintaining a sterile field, managing surgical instruments and supplies, and collaborating with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and high-quality care. The RN will monitor patient conditions during surgery, document care activities, and support infection control protocols.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures.
• Assist with patient positioning and ensure safety during surgery.
• Maintain a sterile field throughout surgical procedures.
• Manage surgical instruments and supplies efficiently.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Monitor patient conditions during surgery and respond to changes.
• Document care activities accurately and thoroughly.
• Support infection control protocols and safety standards.

Requirements

• Minimum one year of recent Operating Room (OR) RN experience.
• Valid RN license compliant with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Qualifications

• Preferred certifications: ACLS, PALS, ENPC, and OR Nursing Certification (CNOR).
