Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with standards and policies
• Utilize the nursing process (assessment–evaluation)
• Coordinate with surgeon/anesthesia and direct OR staff
• Support patient flow, continuity, and unit efficiency
• Participate in quality improvement activities and serve as a resource

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year perioperative experience
• Effective communication in English (spoken and written)
• Current and valid RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
