Travel Respiratory Therapist, RRT

Part-time, 12-hour night shift.

Responsibilities

• Float throughout the hospital and/or multiple hospital locations and/or regions as needed.
• Know, understand, incorporate, and demonstrate standard elements of professional practice per AARC guidelines.
• Act independently and appropriately within scope of knowledge and experience.
• Retain accountability for delegation, choices, decisions, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders and contribute to quality improvement practices and outcomes.
• Exhibit agility and willingness to take on new and additional responsibilities.
• Embrace new ideas and cultural differences while managing competing priorities.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Graduate of a two-year advanced practitioner-accredited Respiratory Therapist program; registry eligible.
• Current RRT credential.
• Valid state license in Respiratory Care if required in the state of work.
• Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with patients, physicians, and other health personnel in line with Trinity Health’s mission and values.
• Analytical skills to identify patient needs.
• Demonstrated basic computer skills in a Windows environment.

Pay

Pay range: $32.22–$35.00 per hour plus tax-free allowance if qualified, or $60 per hour for local assignments. Actual compensation varies based on experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification, and comparisons to current colleagues in similar roles.

Schedule

• 13-week assignment.
• 3×12-hour night shifts per week.
• Start date: ASAP.
• Gross weekly rate: $2,304.00.
