Responsibilities

• Qualified and willing to float throughout the hospital and/or throughout multiple hospital locations and/or regions
• Knows, understands, incorporates, and demonstrates standard elements of professional practice per AARC guidelines
• Acts independently and appropriately within scope of knowledge and experience in practice area
• Retains accountability for delegation, choices, decisions, and outcomes
• Collaborates with key stakeholders and contributes to quality improvement practices and outcomes
• Exhibits agility and willingness to take on new and additional responsibilities
• Embraces new ideas and cultural differences while managing competing priorities

Requirements

• 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
• Graduate of a two-year advanced practitioner-accredited Respiratory Therapist program; registry eligible
• Current RRT credential
• Valid state license in Respiratory Care if required in the state you are working
• Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with patients, physicians, and other health personnel and department management in line with our mission and values
• Analytical skills necessary to identify patient’s needs
• Demonstrated basic computer skills in a Windows environment

Pay

Pay Range: $32.22–$35.00 per hour + tax-free allowance if qualified, or $60 per hour for local assignments. Actual compensation offered will vary based on factors including experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, and certification requirements, as well as comparisons to current colleagues in similar roles.

For this assignment: Start date ASAP, 13 weeks, 3x12-hour night shifts, gross weekly rate: $2,304.00.
