About the role
We are seeking a skilled Travel Respiratory Therapist to provide advanced respiratory care to patients with complex pulmonary and critical illnesses. The role requires independent assessment, treatment management, and teamwork within a multidisciplinary healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
- Assess, treat, and manage patients' respiratory conditions
- Collaborate with physicians on treatment plans
- Perform diagnostic tests and monitor patient responses
- Administer therapies and operate respiratory equipment
- Troubleshoot and maintain respiratory equipment
- Educate patients and families on respiratory care
- Work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Requirements
- Recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NBRC credentials
- Valid state licensure and current BLS certification
- Preferred certifications include ACLS or PALS
