Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to provide advanced respiratory care for patients with complex pulmonary conditions and critical illnesses.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with physicians to develop and implement treatment plans
• Assessing and managing patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders
• Performing diagnostic tests and administering therapies such as aerosol medications and physiotherapy
• Monitoring equipment and patient progress, and educating patients and families
• Working with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care

Requirements

• One year recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist with RRT credential from NBRC
• Valid respiratory therapy license and current BLS certification
• Critical thinking, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and using PC tools
• Ability to work under pressure, maintain attention to detail, and communicate effectively
