About the role
Provide respiratory care across NICU, Peds, and Adult units.
Responsibilities
- Deliver respiratory therapy
- Collaborate with hospitalists and intensivists
- Utilize EMR systems (Cerner, Pyxis)
- Adequately manage shift and holiday schedules
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 2 years experience
- State licensure
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, RRT
- Pass a skills checklist and specialty exam
- Strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability skills
Key Duties
- Participate in daily patient assessments
- Follow hospital protocols
- Work under supervision of department leadership
- Flexibility regarding scrub color and managing RTO with manager approval
