Responsibilities
- Provide advanced respiratory care
- Assess, treat, and manage patients with pulmonary disorders
- Collaborate with physicians to develop treatment plans
- Perform diagnostic tests and administer therapies
- Monitor equipment and record patient progress
- Educate patients and families
- Work within the scope of practice while supporting a multidisciplinary team
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum one year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- RRT credential from NBRC
- Valid respiratory therapy license per state regulations
- Current BLS certification; ACLS/PALS preferred
- Critical thinking, good communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in reading, writing, PC skills, and physical ability to perform duties
