Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

About the Role

A skilled Travel Respiratory Therapist is needed to provide advanced respiratory care to patients with complex pulmonary and critical conditions. This role involves collaborating with physicians to develop treatment plans, performing diagnostic tests, administering therapies, and monitoring patient progress.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and develop respiratory care plans
• Collaborate with physicians to create and adjust treatment strategies
• Conduct diagnostic tests related to pulmonary function
• Administer respiratory therapies and monitor patient progress
• Set up and maintain respiratory equipment
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care techniques
• Work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care

Requirements

• At least one year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
• NBRC RRT credential
• Valid state licensure
• Current BLS certification

Preferred Skills

• ACLS and/or PALS certifications
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical stamina for demanding patient care
• Ability to perform under high-pressure situations
