Key Highlights

• Weekly pay: $1,861–$2,024 per week
• Guaranteed hours: 36 per week

• Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital travel assignment

Responsibilities

• Deliver bedside respiratory care and diagnostic services to patients across all age groups, using evidence-based cardiopulmonary techniques.
• Manage ventilator support, airway clearance, aerosolized therapies, and both invasive and non-invasive ventilation as ordered.
• Assess patient status, monitor clinical data, and adjust therapy per physician orders; document care and communicate changes to the care team.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other disciplines; ensure accurate charting and adherence to infection control standards.
• Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment, perform routine calibrations, and educate patients and families on therapies and devices.
• Respond to respiratory distress and participate in interdisciplinary interventions as needed to optimize patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Current registration by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC-RRT) required upon submission
• Current Oregon Respiratory Care License required upon submission
• Healthcare Provider BLS required
• AACLS, NRP, and PALS required
• Two years of clinical experience in Respiratory Care preferred
• Ability to work in a hospital short-term acute care setting; eligible for travel assignment; rotating weekends as needed
