Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care services to patients with emergency, ICU, and pulmonary/cardiopulmonary needs
• Deliver invasive and non-invasive therapeutic treatments and monitor patient progress
• Conduct diagnostic testing and participate in patient education for pulmonary disorders
• Monitor and maintain respiratory equipment; adjust ventilator settings as prescribed
• Perform arterial blood gas sampling and interpretation as needed
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities as part of the care team

Requirements

• Active Michigan state license as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT preferred; CRT considered)
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), NBRC credentials
• Minimum 2+ years of RRT experience (required)
• Comfortable with ventilators and EKGs (required)
• Ability to work night shifts and in hospital ICU/emergency settings; travel assignment
• On-site work with a hospital environment; willingness to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
• Travel experience preferred
