Respiratory Therapist – Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) needed for a travel assignment in Burlington, Vermont. Start date is August 10, 2026, for 13 weeks. Schedule is 3x12-hour night shifts. Weekly pay ranges from $2,242 to $2,377. Employment type is Travel - Temporary Assignment. Setting is inpatient hospital with an Adult ICU and Adult & Pediatric general units; ED experience is preferred but not required. This position does not guarantee hours.

Responsibilities
Provide respiratory care to adult ICU patients and Adult/Pediatric general units as assigned, including delivery of prescribed therapies, airway clearance, nebulized medications, and ventilator management.
Assess patient response to therapies, adjust plans per protocol, and escalate care as needed in collaboration with physicians and nursing staff.
Monitor and document interventions in the Epic electronic medical record; participate in patient rounds and care planning.
Ensure proper equipment setup, cleaning, infection control, and maintenance of respiratory therapy devices.
Support patient education on treatments and airway management; respond to changes in patient status promptly.
Requirements
- Active Respiratory Therapist license with NBRC verification (RRT)
- Will not accept CRT Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP
- Minimum 1 year of RRT experience; prior travel experience preferred; teaching hospital experience required
- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years (nonnegotiable)
- Ability to work in an inpatient hospital setting (Adult ICU, adult & pediatric general units); ED experience is preferred but not required
